- The City of Pleasant Valley, located in Marion County, West Virginia, was incorporated November 1, 1995, combining four communities of Benton’s Ferry, Kingmont, Pleasant Valley and Millersville into a single entity comprising 3.23 square miles and a population of approximately 3,000. The City of Pleasant Valley is structured and operates under the Strong-Mayor Plan. The current mayor is Emily Haddix. We welcome new business. Our current business partners are located in high visibility areas along Pleasant Valley Rd., near the Interstate and along the Airport Road. Development here is primarily highway oriented with hotels, restaurants and gas stations to serve the needs of travelers and users of the municipal airport.
